Leigh Payne has written extensively on transitional justice and human rights issues. She is currently involved in a project examining impunity for corporate complicity in human rights violations during dictatorships and armed conflicts. She is part of the Corporate Accountability and Transitional Justice group that has tracked accountantability efforts in truth commission reports and other non-judicial activities and judicial actions in various countries throughout the world. With CELS and ANDHES in Argentina and Dejusticia in Colombia, the Oxford team is working toward specific forms of accountability appropriate to the contexts. She has a forthcoming co-authored book (with Gabriel Pereira) at Cambridge University Press. Payne and Pereira have also co-authored several book chapters and journal articles on the corporate complicity and transitional justice topic.
